PhotosHere are some pictures of our generic blender:
WantJoin blender
Things appear to have moved on a little since then. This new blender comes with a timer and a safety-cut off. So far the machine has been working well. The motor seems a little weaker than the Cleanblend - but it is not a big deal for us. I'm a bit worried that the lid is made of cheap black plastic that might disintegrate - but we will see. The machine is (irritatingly) taller than seems necessary and it doesn't fit under our counter properly. However, we have a reasonable work-around. The CleanBlend pitcher fits on the WantJoin base. The WantJoin pitcher also fits on the CleanBlend base. Great! It means that I have some spare parts - if necessary. The front of the machine seems busy. It's a minor cosmetic issue, though. A common complaint among reviewers is that the blade assembly and nut suffer from corosion. We will see. For reference, a reviewer claims that this is the blade's bearing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L8795LS/
